Be cautious of pricey yet popular PR services like PRWeb, PR Newswire, etc. that offer distribution to hundreds, if not thousands, of news outlets and/or journalists. Distribution does NOT guarantee media coverage. Furthermore, most journalists (including THIS journalist) do not read press releases from PR distribution services. They are great, however, for “SEO PR.” When used strategically with well-written releases, they can definitely build backlinks, traffic, and conversions. When it comes to distributing the press release for consideration by traditional media, it ultimately comes down to emailing those journalists/news outlets directly--which is what we do.

 

If you still prefer to use some of those popular distribution services, understand that we can't publish the press release on our end. This is because some sites, like PRWeb, forbid duplicate content.
