From southwest Georgia to South Carolina's Grand Strand, Nikki has worked in several media markets as a TV anchor, reporter and producer. She is a familiar face to the Lowcountry, having worked as a TV journalist for the ABC and CBS affiliates in Charleston. She is currently the managing editor and digital publisher of The Berkeley Observer.
An Emmy-nominated journalist, she's interviewed entertainers like Hollywood actor Danny Glover, celebrity chef Paula Deen, ABC show host Ty Pennington and rapper-turned-actor Xzibit, who starred in the hit FOX show "Empire." She's also interviewed prominent lawmakers as well as U.S. presidential candidates like Newt Gingrich, Herman Cain, Nikki Haley, Tim Scott and Ron Paul.
Along with her passion for news, she has published many articles online and in print, often writing under the pen name "Renae Nicole." Past companies she's provided content for include Zoosk.com , The Knot , OMG! Facts and eHow.

Nikki is deeply involved in her community, and her ancestral roots in the Lowcountry run deep. She is a volunteer wish granter for Make-A-Wish SC as well as an active member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (Summerville & Moncks Corner chapters), Daughters of the War of 1812, and French Huguenot Society of South Carolina.
She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a B.A. in broadcast journalism and minor in Spanish. She was born and raised in the Lowcountry. She calls Berkeley County, SC home.

Brandy Gaskins is a public relations and social media specialist born and raised outside of Charleston, South Carolina. She is a 2012 graduate of the College of Charleston with a B.A. in corporate communications with a concentration in public relations.
Upon graduating college, she relocated to San Antonio, Texas to begin her career in public relations with the American Payroll Association and its affiliates. When not working, Brandy is an avid traveler, history lover, and foodie.
Brandy now lives in the Lone Star State with her furbaby Dixie Belle the cat, but she will always call the South Carolina Lowcountry home.
